Field Services Group

Dan Cordova

Since joining the SDMS team in 2007, Dan has been involved in establishing the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of district assets and improvements through implementing coordination among developers, contractors, and district representatives. The services he has provided include, but are not limited to, creating Requests for Proposals, obtaining bids, overseeing and enforcing contracts and service agreements, and acting as a liaison between districts and their residents in matters of complaints, concerns, and inquiries.

Throughout his tenure with SDMS, Dan has also acted as an onsite Field Technician, performing duties such as meter reading, water meter installation and repair, managing and processing UNCC utility locate requests, and locating and marking underground district facilities. A Colorado native, Dan attended the University of Puget Sound and the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Dan's certifications as an ABPA Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester and Class 1 Distribution Operator and Certified Water Professional (CWP) enhance and strengthen his qualifications in maintenance and customer service.

Elizabeth Ward

Elizabeth is a public administration and management professional with over 16 years of experience working for municipalities and Special Districts. Her diverse background includes managing and leading staff; creating and implementing policy and training procedures; overseeing covenant, election, and law compliance; and developing recreation programming. Elizabeth is committed to servant leadership, and has a passion for working with communities and the public sector. Her strong communication and customer service skills, as well as attention to detail, enables her to individualize her management approach to best meet the unique needs of each client.

A native of Colorado, Elizabeth obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and spent the early parts of her career working for cities and towns such as the City of Boulder, Town of Superior, and Town of Erie. Prior to starting with SDMS in July of 2016, Elizabeth served as the Designated Election Official and Recreation Manager for the Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District in Frederick. She also currently serves as a Board Director for her Homeowners Association in Thornton, and has formally served as a staff liaison for Special District and other various community boards.

In 2016, Elizabeth completed her graduate-level coursework, obtaining a Masters of Public Administration with an emphasis in Government and Policy. She also holds various professional licenses, and is an active member of the Community Associations Institute.
